The start of Season 1 for Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Pacific is fast approaching, much to the excitement of players looking ahead to the first major content drop of the game's cycle and a new era of battle royale action. The new season will see new Operators join the roster alongside a range of new weaponry, and an all-new Battle Pass for players to work through.
Just like previous seasons, players will have to download an update before dropping into the action, and unlike some seasons that have featured hefty updates, early signs are pointing towards reduced download sizes thanks to clever optimisation. With that said, how big are the Season 1 updates for Warzone Pacific and Vanguard?
Call of Duty Vanguard Season 1 Update Size
Activision or Sledgehammer Games has yet to reveal any official information surrounding the size of Vanguard's Season 1 update but @SizePlaystation has managed to uncover the update from within the PlayStation database, complete with a new file size for the entire game.
Prior to the update, the base version of Vanguard was approximately 37.5 GB and afterward, it had increased to 40.7 GB, heavily suggesting that Vanguard's Season 1 update will be around 3.24 GB in size which is great news for those that want to keep space on their hard drives.
Warzone Pacific Season 1 Update Size
While Warzone players will be hoping for a small update to the battle royale, it's unlikely that it will be anywhere near the size of Vanguard's update considering the wealth of changes that are coming to the game. With Caldera on the way alongside the integration of Vanguard's weapons, there's every chance that the Season 1 update will be one of the larger updates to arrive. The exact sizes for each platform have yet to be revealed but as soon as they are, we will update this article with the latest information.
That's everything we know about the update sizes for Vanguard and Warzone Pacific. For more intel, check out all of the Operators appearing in the upcoming update.
