When it comes to making an impact in Season 1 Reloaded of Warzone Pacific, submachine guns (SMG) enable players to excel in close-quarters combat. Like many weapons in the category, the Sten features a fast rate of fire alongside incredible mobility levels which makes it very easy to outplay any opposition.
While the high fire rate is useful, it can cause some unwanted recoil from the Sten but thanks to the Gunsmith, there are several attachments that can lower the kick to make the SMG a force to be reckoned with in Caldera. In this guide, find the best Sten Warzone attachments along with the best Sten Warzone loadout.

How to Unlock Sten in Warzone
The Sten is incredibly straightforward to unlock in Warzone and Vanguard. Simply reach Level 10 to get your hands on this surprisingly powerful SMG. While it's easy to unlock, it will take some time to gain access to all of the attachments. Pop a Double Weapon XP Token to speed up the process.
Best Sten Warzone Attachments
Due to the characteristics of the Sten, players can utilise a build that's similar to the MP40 in order to maximise damage output and movement speed over the course of a match.
- Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
- Barrel: Gawain 140MM Short
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: Gaiwan Folding 43S
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 9mm 50 Round Drums
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Pine Tar Grip
- Perk: Frenzy
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
Despite this combination of attachments slightly reducing the levels of range, the Sten's additional accuracy and mobility make it a deadly weapon in close-quarters combat. The Gaiwan 140mm Short Barrel drastically improves reaction times alongside the Gaiwan Folding 43S.
The small magazine has been replaced with a 50 Round Drum to give you the ability to eliminate multiple opponents without the need to dip out of the action to reload. All in all, this Sten build is particularly strong in scenarios where levels of movement can decide the outcome of a gunfight.
Best Sten Warzone Loadout
With the best set of attachments equipped and ready for action, turning your attention to focus on the remaining areas of the loadout can be just as important when it comes to finding further advantages. Everything from the best Perks to which combination of equipment can allow you to make even more of an impact in Caldera.
- Perk 1: Double Time
- Perk 2: Ghost
- Perk 3: Battle Hardened
Double Time doubles the length of Tactical Sprint, allowing you to maximise the Sten's incredible mobility while Ghost conceals your location from Spy Planes called in by players looking to send you the Gulag. Lastly is Battle Hardened. Due to the effects of stun grenades, this Perk makes it much easier to maintain focus on your intended target even if they attempt to slow your movement.
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
Despite changes from Raven Software, this combination of equipment is still a solid choice. Use the Semtex to deal additional damage to the opposition or stick it to an oncoming vehicle for an explosive result. With plenty of areas where tracking a target can be difficult, the Heartbeat Sensor is ideal for keeping tabs on any nearby threats.
Is The Sten Good in Warzone?
Having used this build in several Vanguard Royale matches, I can say that there are very few SMGs that are stronger than the Sten in close-range combat. The fast rate of fire alongside the huge magazine is perfect for scoring plenty of kills and I would highly recommend using it.
