The Season 6 update for Black Ops Cold War will go live on October 5th at 9PM PT (October 6th at 5AM BST) The update rolls out 24 hours before Warzone, giving players the perfect opportunity to level up the new weapons before testing them out in Verdansk and Rebirth Island.

Despite Treyarch never revealing the exact sizes of the Season 6 update, players are beginning to preload the update ahead of the start of the season on October 7th. Here's how big the update is for each platform:

  • PlayStation 4/5: 25-28 GB
  • Xbox One/ Series X|S: 13-22 GB
  • PC: 13-15 GB

For PC players, make sure that you have some additional space available so the update can copy without any problems. Usually, the update will take up a much larger space to complete the process before freeing up the space once the download has been completed.
