With Season 2 in full swing and Season 3 just a few weeks away, it appears that a brand-new melee weapon could be on the way.

Very few Call of Duty titles have featured such a diverse range of melee weapons, but Black Ops Cold War has made a concerted effort in supporting a weapon category that is often overlooked.

Baseball Bat Melee Weapon Black Ops Cold War

According to notable leaker @ZestyCODLeaks, the baseball bat melee weapon will be the latest addition to the Black Ops Cold War and Warzone weapon arsenal.

Details surrounding camouflage challenge requirements have also been revealed. Players will have to score kills while sliding, take down enemies from behind, and more.

Baseball Bat Release Date

Considering the challenges for the baseball bat have been discovered within the files of the game, the melee weapon could release as soon as Season 2 Reloaded which is expected to launch on March 31st.

If it doesn’t make an appearance during Season 2 Reloaded, it’s more than likely that it will be a part of Season 3 which begins towards the end of April.

Sooner or later, players will be scoring home runs on the battlefield in no time at all.
