The Battlefield 2042 Beta Is Out Now


The Battlefield 2042 Open Beta is finally here! Available on PC, Xbox Series X | S, PS5, Xbox One, and PS4, you can play the Battlefield 2042 Open Beta if you've pre-ordered Battlefield 2042.

You can jump into a game of Conquest on the Orbital map if you've got the early access pre-order, or just wait a couple of days and start playing it on the open access date of October 8th 2021.

The beta will end on October 9th, so get as many games in as you can during that time! You can still gain early access by joining EA Play or pre-ordering, so if you're desperate to get playing then give it a shot.

In the Open Beta, you'll get the chance to play as four of the game's Specialists: Boris, Mackay, Falck, and Casper. They each have different unique abilities, from a grappling hook for taking high ground quickly to a recon drone for scouting out enemies before engaging. You'll even get to try out the robot dogs in the Beta, as well as a range of vehicles and weapons. There's a lot of content to get stuck into here, and even more when it comes to the full release date, so keep an eye out for that.
