Battlefield 2042 Pre-Order Bonuses

Everyone who pre-ordered Battlefield 2042 before the game’s launch will receive the following rewards:

  • Baku ACB-90 Epic Melee takedown knife
  • “Mr. Chompy” Epic Weapon Charm
  • “Landfall” Player Card Background
  • “Old Guard” Tag

In addition to all of these goodies, the official Battlefield Twitter confirmed a Battle-Hardened Legendary Skin for Irish, one of the Specialists in the game. You can see what the skin looks like in the Tweet below.

If you managed to pre-order the game, you should be able to redeem these bonuses straight away!

Platform Versions

First up, let’s take a look at what platforms Battlefield 2042 is coming to. Last-gen players will be happy to know that the game will be released on PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

In addition, there will be PS5 and Series X/S versions. Other than that you’ll be able to play on PC as well. This means there’s a lot of options to consider for purchase, though thankfully there isn’t much variation in what you’ll get on each platform.

Battlefield 2042 Special Editions

There are three main editions to choose from regardless of what platform you are playing on. These are the Standard, Gold and Ultimate Editions. Here’s what’s in each:

Price on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC

Finally, let’s talk about pricing. Given that there are multiple versions to worry about, spread across different console generations, there are many price points to consider.

Standard Edition

  • PS4 and Xbox One Price: £59.99
  • PS5 and Xbox Series X/S Price: £69.99
  • PC Price: £49.99

Gold Edition

  • PS and Xbox: £89.99
  • PC: £79.99

Ultimate Edition

  • PS and Xbox: £109.99
  • PC: £99.99

You’ll notice that for the Ultimate and Gold editions we haven’t specified a price. That’s because these versions include an automatic upgrade to the PS5 and Series X versions. As such, there aren’t technically last gen versions of these bundles.
