Apex Legends Dev Hints the Next Heirloom
In a recent Twitter thread, Daniel Klein, lead game designer at Respawn, commented on the relation between cosmetics and character buffs.
The original tweet was talking about League of Legends' Vladimir and whether he would be receiving a skin as he is getting buffed. Klein then chimed in on this topic stating that isn't how things work usually in game development.
He went on to talk about how Revenant had received a major buff and with this, he also received an Heirloom, although this was more so a matter of coincidence as both the buff and Heirloom were complete around the same time.
Klein then goes on to mention that there will be a legend in the future that should have the same fate, just like Rev, their buff and Heirloom should line up together.
This poses the question, which legend is he talking about? The legends who haven't received an Heirloom so far include:
We can likely rule out the last three legends that were released, usually, Respawn allows a little more time for legends before creating this sort of content for them.
Our best guess is that it's likely going to be Crypto or Wattson. Apparently, some game files were found which could give more weight to the fact Crypto is next for an Heirloom. With the newest legend Seer arriving, many players believe Crypto is in need of a buff, so could this be a perfect match?
