In keeping with series tradition, the new Apex Legends trailer revealed a new Stories from the Outlands episode ahead of Apex Season 9’s release date, complete with at least one new Legend and plenty of Apex Legends lore as well.

Valkyrie — the Valk of previous leaks — headlines the new Outlands episode, but she’s not the only leaked Legend.

Blisk also makes an appearance as a less-than-friendly figure from Valkyrie’s past, and Titanfall’s Viper shows up too, as does a rather familiar mech unit.

Apex Legends is about to get a whole lot busier.

Valkyrie in Apex Legends

We’ve got much more info on Valkyrie for you, but here’s a short summary.

Valkyrie is Viper’s daughter.

Viper is an antagonist in Respawn’s other series, Titanfall, though we see a much more pleasant side of him in Stories from the Outlands.

Valkyrie is a smuggler and aspiring pilot just trying to make ends meet.

She’s also got a new ride in the works that’s heralding the arrival of something else big.

Titans in Apex Legends

Titans are almost certainly coming to Apex Legends sometime after Season 9 Legacy begins.

The Stories from the Outlands trailer ends with Valkyrie unveiling a new creation.

Seeing as she’s Viper’s daughter, and the episode has “Northstar” in the title, it’s not a huge leap to guess Valkyrie built a new Northstar Titan and will pilot it in Apex Legends.

Blisk in Apex Legends

We’ve got plenty more about Blisk too, but the big takeaway from this new Stories from the Outlands trailer is that it all but confirms he’s coming in Season 9.

Respawn said this is the start of the game’s biggest update on console and PC, so it’s only scratching the surface.

We’ll update when more information becomes available.
