Animal Crossing: New Horizons came out at the exact time the world needed it when the pandemic was at its height, giving a number of people some sense of normalcy that they desperately needed, managing to court both hardcore Nintendo fans that love the Animal Crossing franchise and casual gamers that like picking up games to relax and collect fruit, resulting in the game being a huge success.

New Horizons continues to give fans plenty of content to go through, thanks to updates that keep adding new things to the game, along with missing content that was in the 3DS game Animal Crossing: New Leaf, so it’s easy to see why this installment continues to be supported by Nintendo and is a best-seller for the Nintendo Switch.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons - What You Need To Know About Nook Points

The game has a number of currencies for players to collect, including the fun mobile game-style Nook Miles, but Nintendo is also planning to introduce Nook Points to the game.

Players will be able to collect these by logging into the Nintendo Online app on their phones, clicking the Animal Crossing: New Horizons section, clicking on Nook Points, pick Get My Points, and you can redeem them for items.

Currently, you can get a Nook Inc. poster for use in the game but not much else, though it looks like more items will be added in the future.

You can get Nook Points every day by simply logging into the Nintendo Online app every day and doing the same thing written above.

While Nook Points are a thing in the app they have yet to be implemented to Animal Crossing: New Horizons properly, though the Animal Crossing Twitter did state that we might see it in late March, so expect it in a few days.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now available on the Nintendo Switch.
