When you start out in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you'll have one type of fruit that is native to your island. In order to gather and grow the other fruits on offer, you'll need to venture to a Mystery Island or recruit the help of your friends.

The six types of fruit are as follows:

  • Apples
  • Peaches
  • Pears
  • Oranges
  • Cherries
  • Coconuts

If you haven't got a friend available to help you out with collecting all types of fruit in New Horizons, you will need to take a trip off your island. Once you get Dodo Airlines up and running, you'll be able to island hop between various mystery island that have different flowers and fruit on offer for you to pocket and take home with you.

To do this, you'll first need to purchase Nook Tickets from the Nook Point in the Town Hall. Each ticket will cost you some Nook Miles, so make sure to complete various activities around your island to earn some of these for your trips!

This is the most efficient way of gathering all the fruit in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, unless you have a kind friend gift you all of it!
