How To Play Animal Crossing: New Horizons Online Multiplayer
Many fans of the game are beyond excited to check out and adventure into the Animal Crossing world with up to eight people in their party.
Before we talk about how to access multiplayer, you are going to need a Nintendo Switch Online membership. These are priced as listed below:

Once you purchase one of these memberships you are able to access all the online features of New Horizons!
It is very simple to access the online multiplayer options in New Horizons; first off, you are going to want to head over to Dodo Airlines.
This is basically the hub for all online activities, and you are presented with the following options upon talking to Dodo:

- Invite via Dodo Code (In-game New Horizons code)
- Actually, I'm good.
Once you select one of these options, you are all set! You will be able to travel to each other's islands and do whatever you want!
Co-Op Local Play
One of the neat features coming to New Horizons is that up to four people can live on your island at the same time!
This is great for families or if you have a bunch of friends over and you want to start your own island together!
In order to gain access to this feature you are going to want to head over to the NookPhone, and use the app titled "Call Islander".
This will allow you to call any of the islanders that are already present on your island, enabling Co-Op play!
Once enabled, you can switch who becomes the leader of your party but there is no split-screen option for New Horizons. Instead, you will simply follow the leader of your party for the play session.
