Are Valorant's Servers Down?

With Valorant’s Act 2 Episode 2 arriving soon, fans might be looking to finish up their battle pass – but there's bad news.

According to erstwhile site DownDetector, Valorant's servers are down.

Are Valorant's Servers Down?

According to the current stats, issues spiked late this morning, into the early afternoon.

The issues appear to be related to server connections, causing players issues when logging in.

In truth, we were expecting patch notes to drop at any point now, but it appears Riot's focus is (understandably) on fixing whatever has caused the outage.

While many speculated that this could be due to maintenance prior to the new Episode arriving (bringing Astra with it), Riot previously stated that such changes were expected in a few hours time. Here's the expected timeframe for maintenance.
