VALORANT Agent 19 Sprinter Abilities

All the previous VALORANT Agents had codenames that reflected their abilities in-game. The codename Sprinter sounds like the first Agent with supernatural speed. Perhaps, the next Agent is a Radiant, who has speedster-like abilities similar to Overwatch’s Soldier: 76.

Similarly, others have suggested that Sprinter will be a counter version of Jett. Fans are wondering what that might look like, so we have prepared an ability list based on the theories online.

  • Smoke – Smoke to obscure vision, Similar to Jett's smoke, however, they will last longer.
  • Stampede – Acts like a grenade, similar to Phoenix' Hot Hands, damaging all opponents within its radius.
  • Signature Ability: Velocity Streak – Move from point A to B within seconds while remaining invulnerable. Similar to Reyna's dismiss, but it covers a shorter distance.
  • Ultimate: Hyperspeed – Use your map to target a location, launching a devastating orbital strike that pulses for high damage over several seconds.

Keep in mind that these are not real abilities and are just theories at this point. We will update this section once the real abilities are revealed.

Leaks And Theories

The codename sprinter was found in the game files back in Episode 3 Act 1. Along with this, we also got the codename Deadeye. It is highly likely that Deadeye will arrive way ahead of Sprinter.

Popular data miners, and community experts like @Floxay, @ValorLeaks, @Shiick reported on this new codename. In the Episode 3 Act 2 official map trailer, we hear a voice that speaks in a distinctive French accent. Community experts are claiming that Deadeye is the Agent speaking in the trailer.

It is also speculated that Deadeye will arrive in the upcoming VALORANT Episode 3 Act 3 update. Following how Riot releases Agents, Sprinter is expected to arrive by Episode 4. This means that fans will get to see teasers surrounding this new Agent 19 from Act 3 itself.
