Having the right Field of View (FOV) settings can really bring out the best gaming experience in FPS games such as Valorant. In Valorant, it will not just allow you to be more engaged while in a match but may also lead you to the path of victory.

Riot Games’ 2020 breakout shooter took the gaming industry by storm when it became available for players worldwide. Today, it remains one of the most popular games on a global scale, and players have already grasped what could be the best FOV settings to use in the game. The thing is, however, the game may not be able to provide direct FOV settings.

Valorant Best FOV Settings

Even if Valorant does not have a FOV slider so far, it was revealed by a game developer from Riot Games named 'Classick' that the game uses a 103 FOV.

Classick also mentioned that it is not playing the game in a ratio of 4:3 is not recommended because it will make Valorant’s FOV become 71. So, it is best to stick with the default 16:9 optimized version of the game to have the best gaming experience in Riot’s FPS title.

How to Change the FOV Settings in Valorant

With Valorant limiting its players to change the FOV settings inside the game itself, there is still another option to customize your game’s FOV settings. This is only possible if you use an NVIDIA graphics card.

For you to change settings using your Nvidia GPU, click Start and select Run. Type “dxdiag” in the 'Open' box and click 'Ok' afterwards. It will open the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Choose the Display tab, and all the details of your graphics card will pop up immediately.

Now, to set up the different FOV settings for Valorant, right-click on your desktop and select the NVIDIA Control Panel. Go to Display Section and select 'Adjust Desktop Size and Position.' Choose 'Aspect Ratio' and set it to 4:3. If you want to play with a stretched resolution, choose the 'Scaling Option' instead.
