Total War: Warhammer 3 Will Add New Survival Battles

Total War: Warhammer 3 will add a new battle mode to the franchise when it arrives later this year.

Survival Battles are tower defence inspired skirmishes, where players will need to hold a series of captured locations.

Players can purchase barricades, helping to send enemies towards turrets and traps, as well as more powerful units. These will vary in difficulty, too.

The video also reveals new playstyles coming with the game's new factions - Kislev, Cathay and the factions of Chaos - Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh and Tzeentch.

Players can also expect boss-style encounters against particularly powerful enemies.
