The Witcher returned last month with Season 2 and the 8-episode sequel was another hit for Netflix. Confirmed by Variety, the latest season has entered the top 10 list for the most-watched English TV shows on the streaming giant's platform.
In the first 28 days since the show's return, Season 2 was watched for a total of 462.5 million hours. This figure was enough to carry the White Wolf's second outing into Netflix's Top 10 across their history.

The latest season joins the first season in that impressive ranking. However, Season 1 experienced 541.01 million hours of view-time in its first 28 days, significantly beating the second collection of episodes. Nonetheless, it's still an impressive feat.
Both 8-episode tales are in good company on the list, as Stranger Things 2 and 3 are present, along with 13 Reasons Why Seasons 1 and 2. You Seasons 2/3 and last year's breakout hit, Maid are also ranked. Bridgerton takes the top spot on the list though, gathering an incredible 625.49 million hours of viewing time.
Netflix has a bright future for the White Wolf, with a spin-off TV show and anime movie in production. Henry Cavill will swing the sword once more, as Season 3's ready to start filming in the forthcoming weeks.
