Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is an action role-playing game set in the Final Fantasy Universe. In the game, you play as Jack, a warrior who is determined to seek out Chaos to destroy it. Alongside his friends, he will battle his way through numerous enemies to restore the light of the crystals back to the kingdom of Cornelia.

From multiple smaller enemies to large bosses with unique fighting styles, many challenges await you. In a game that is heavily focused on difficult and often brutal battles, you may find that you need some help. Does It Have Multiplayer Co-Op?

Yes, the game supports online multiplayer co-op throughout the story, dungeons, side-missions, raids, and endgame content. You can join up to 3 friends (meaning it supports 4 players overall). However, you will only be able to join any stages that you have already completed or the next mission that you need to face. This means that if you're at the very start of the game and your friend is at the very end, they can join you as they have already completed it, but you cannot join them.

Equipment and Item Distribution

Any pieces of equipment and items that you find or gain as rewards will appear for each individual player. This means that you do not need to worry about scrambling for the best gear, it's all distributed fairly.

How to Start Multiplayer Co-Op

So far, it seems that you need to create a room for online multiplayer if you want to be the host. It seems that you can specify which mission other people can join you on, and which difficulty level it will be. You can also customise the playstyle and you can set a password if you only want specific friends to be able to join you.
