How to restore your energy

So there are a few ways you can restore your energy. We're going to take you through them all.

Sleep at your house

You can restore large chunks of your energy when you sleep in your house at the end of the day. When you wake up the next day, your energy should have a substantial amount restored if not all of it. But be mindful of the fact that although this does restore a lot of energy quickly and for free, it does mean you can potentially lose a good chunk of your day if you're heading to bed at 1 pm!

Buy food or drinks at the Stardrop Saloon

In the centre of Pelican Town, there is a building called the Stardrop Saloon. It's only open from 12 am to 12 pm but you can go in here to buy food or recipes from the kindly bartender, Gus. To restore your energy quickly it's a good idea to order and eat food. To do this, head up to the till inside the saloon and interact with it. This will bring up a menu of all of the food items and recipes that are currently available.

If you hover your cursor over the food item you will be able to see the perks of eating that food. Some foods will restore your energy or your health. Some will give you other perks such as +1 speed which will make you move faster after consuming that item. Drinks will have perks too but they'll be less than food items.

Once you have bought the food, it will go into your inventory. All you need to do to eat it is to select it and press your action button to eat it.

We recommend using Stardrop Saloon to buy food as the prices are reasonable, even if you're new to the game.

Buy food or drinks at JojaMart

JojaMart can be found on the far side of Pelican Town, just above the museum and blacksmith. It's the town's supermarket and you can find more than just food or drink here. However, to restore your energy, those are the things you must focus on. Like in the Stardrop Saloon, you need to walk up to the till and interact with it. A menu will appear with all of the items that you can buy. Once you have bought something it will go into your inventory. To consume it, click on it and press your action button.

Buy energy-boosting medicine from Harvey

Harvey is the doctor of Pelican Town and his clinic can be found next to Pierre's shop. If it's open and Harvey is in there, speak to him by interacting with the till. You will then be shown a menu of the things that you can buy. He can sell medicine that will help substantially boost your energy if you need it. However, the medicines will cost you a lot of gold so they should be used as a last resort.

How to track your energy

In the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, you should see a vertical bar with "E" at the top of it. This is your energy tracker. If your energy is at a good level, the bar in the middle will be green. As your energy gets lower it will change from green to yellow, yellow to orange, and eventually orange to red. Once your energy level is orange you should think about restoring it or risk passing out.

But there you have it, once you have restored your energy, you can continue to work on your farm and friendships in Stardew Valley.
