Stardew Valley - How to fix the beach bridge

Once you start to explore the rest of Pelican Town in Stardew Valley you will find the southern beach. Elliot and Willy both live here but it's the broken bridge to the right of Elliot's house that you should focus on. It takes quite a lot of wood and effort to fix it, but once you do, you will have access to a very lucrative little area. So this is why we're going to show you how to fix the beach bridge.

How to fix the beach bridge

1. Collect wood

To fix the beach bridge, you will need to collect 300 pieces of wood. This may sound like a lot but if you follow our guide on how to farm wood, you will have enough pieces very quickly.

2. Head to the bridge

Once you have 300 pieces of wood, head to the broken beach bridge. The bridge is next to Elliot's house which can be found on the beach south of Pelican Town. If you cannot find the beach, head to Mayor Lewis's house and keep heading south from his front door. This should bring you to a stone bridge that you can walk over and this will take you onto the beach.

3. Equip the wood and fix the bridge

When you have found the bridge you need to equip your wood. Once you are holding it above your head, head to the broken half of the bridge. Press your action button when you are at the edge of the broken half and a text box should appear. Select "Yes" and the bridge will instantly be fixed.

What happens when you fix the beach bridge?

When you fix the broken beach bridge, you will gain access to another area with Rock Pools in it. Items such as Coral and Sea Urchins will spawn in or around these pools. You can also find Clams, Mussels, and Rainbow Shells, amongst a variety of other nautical foraging items. You can sell things like Clams and Sea Urchins to Willy at the Fish Shop for a high price. They're a really good way of making a lot of money fast as they respawn every few days or so.
