Here are three facts you should know about Splatoon 3.
- Splatoon 3 is the third game in the Splatoon Series.
- Details about Splatoon 3 are sparse.
- Splatoon 3 has a bow.
That last fact is something the marketing team over at Nintendo REALLY wants you to know.
In fact, almost everything that has come out about Splatoon 3 features the bow.
Splatoon 3 Has A Bow
On July 14, 2021, Nintendo of America dropped the latest Splatoon 3 tidbit on Twitter.
The "Summer Wishes" tweet contained a piece of Splatoon 3 that features 5 Inklings in the desert, with the game's bow front and center.
Before this, players got a quick peek at Splatoon 3 gameplay with the Switch OLED announcement video.
The gameplay Nintendo showed off?
The first Splatoon 3 trailer?
The bow is resting behind the Inkling as player creation is shown off.
Once finished, the Inklink picks up their bow and heads off into the wastes.
Sense a trend here?
Splatoon 3 has a bow!
In fact, it's probably the only thing we can be certain of at this point, other than the fact that the game's title is Splatoon 3.
Will Splatoon 3 Have Other Weapons?
All kidding aside, Splatoon 3 will certainly have other weapons.
Some of them can even be seen in the background of clips and screenshots featuring the new bow.
Of course, Nintendo may just be including these to keep fans of the previous titles happy until Splatoon 3 drops, and we all find out the game is nothing more than Link's Crossbow Training featuring Inklings and the new bow that we keep seeing so much about.
