Splatoon 2 is getting another Splatfest event, over a year after Nintendo announced they were ending post-launch support for the game.
It seems Nintendo is just as fond of the game as we are, and just can't let it go. We got what we thought was one last event in May, but now we've got a reprise of the "Which came first?" conundrum where players pick Team Chicken or Team Egg.

Splatoon 2's Splatfests Are Back
As confirmed by the Nintendo UK VS Twitter account, the event will kick off on August 21 at 11 PM UK time. That gives you plenty of time to pick a side.

If you're wondering, the last time this event took place, Team Chicken won. We're curious to see if it's any different this time, although Splatoon 2 is just such good fun we don't really need an excuse to jump back in.
Believe it or not, we'll be getting even more Splatfests over the coming months. As confirmed on Twitter, there are two more coming before March 2021.
And make sure to stay fresh, because two more bonus Splatoon 2 Splatfests will be arriving before the end of March 2021!
