Sonic the Hedgehog 2’s Getting a Trailer Reveal During The Game Awards 2021


SEGA's announced they'll be unveiling a new trailer for the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 film during The Game Awards 2021. Following speculation about an announcement for Sonic 2022, rumoured to be called Sonic Frontiers, SEGA confirmed this news via Twitter.

Releasing an official film poster too, that shows Sonic riding a plane while Tails pilots it. Jim Carrey's Dr. Robotnik is seen chasing the two, while Knuckles - who's being voiced by Idris Elba - isn't present.

Alongside this upcoming sequel, rumours also circulated after a website domain was spotted for "Sonic Frontiers." While that doesn't guarantee an announcement during The Game Awards 2021, that was reported trademarked last month.

As for The Game Awards 2021, it'll be live-streamed tomorrow from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
