Resident Evil Village PC Requirements Revealed


Resident Evil 8 Village is shambling ever closer into view, and the next entry in the iconic franchise is taking some fresh turns.

We've seen werewolves, vampires, and plenty more, and Capcom has now revealed what it'll take to bring all those spooky enemies to life on PC.

Resident Evil Village PC Requirements Revealed

As spotted by longtime industry insider Nibel, the game's pre-order page has been updated with both minimum and recommended specs:

Minimum Specs:

  • Ray tracing: No
  • OS: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-7500/AMD Ryzen 3 1200
  • Memory: 8GB
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB VRAM/AMD Radeon RX 560 with 4GB VRAM
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: TBD

Capcom notes that 1080p and 60FPS gameplay is possible through the "Performance Focus" setting.

Recommended Specs (No Ray Tracing)

  • Ray tracing: No
  • OS: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-8700/AMD Ryzen 3600
  • Memory: 16GB
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070/AMD Radeon RX 5700
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: TBD

Again, Capcom notes that 1080p and 60FPS gameplay is possible through the "Performance Focus" setting.

According to Capcom, Raytracing allows for 4K/45 FPS gameplay or 4K/60 FPS gameplay depending on the graphics card in use.
