Alternate DualSense Colours On The Way In Red And Black, New Rumor Suggests

A new leak suggests that Sony is set to bring alternate DualSense colors to market sometime soon after the company suggested in 2020 that they would be on the way at some point.

The report, which comes from the Spanish website Area Jugones who say that there will be a red and black option and a black and grey option for your DualSense colour scheme, on top of the existing white and grey model.

The picture included from Area Jugones is a mockup and they don't offer any kind of documentation or evidence to suggest that these colour schemes are on the way. However, it does seem likely that Sony will start to release some alternate DualSense colours soon and as mentioned earlier they even said last year that they planned to.

The report doesn't offer any release date or announcement date for these alternate colors; however, we wouldn't be surprised if we heard something this Summer at Sony's E3/Summer showcase or later in the season, just before the holiday season hits.

Alongside these new DualSense colours, Sony is reportedly developing a redesign of the PS5 system for a 2022 release, although this redesign will only be for the internals, with the exterior remaining the same.

2022 will also see Sony integrate Discord with the PlayStation ecosystem after Sony announced a partnership with the service earlier this week.
