It's a good time to be a Pokémon fan right now. After Nintendo recently confirmed release dates for both Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, alongside Pokemon Legends: Arceus, that's unlikely to let up anytime soon, as The Pokémon Company's just revealed record profits.
Despite being a private company, The Pokémon Company's released a full breakdown of their finances, despite having no legal obligation to do so. For the 2020 fiscal year, they achieved a record-breaking net profit of 18.6 billion yen (roughly £119/$170 million) last year, making for a 21.2 percent increase over 2019.

As for overall sales, The Pokémon Company reached 120 billion yen, while operating profit hit 27.8 billion yen. It follows a strong sales trend for Nintendo , who've just confirmed the Switch has seen 20 million sales in Japan alone, having previously reached 84.59 million sales last month.
Elsewhere in the Pokémon world, we've seen rumours of a "Pokemon Presents" presentation arriving before E3, alongside "leaks" of a potential visual upgrade for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Hopefully, we won't be waiting long to find out more,
