Pokemon GO: How to Defeat Therian Forme Landorus

Therian Forme Landorus will debut in Pokemon GO for the first time as Rivals' Week goes live. Therian Forme Landorus marks the final Therian Forme from the Forces of Nature to appear in Pokemon GO.

Players will have two weeks to battle and defeat Therian Forme Landorus within five-star raids in order to catch the Legendary Pokemon. For the last month and a half, the Forces of Nature have taken priority in raids. All three Incarnate formes have already appeared, including Landorus. After Therian Forme Landorus makes an appearance, the Incarnate Formes will be in raids one more time.

How to defeat and catch Therian Forme Landorus in Pokemon GO

The first step in defeating Therian Forme Landorus is getting a squad of trainers to do so. Typically, the Forces of Nature can be taken down with about four players. In some cases, less players are needed, but having four or more will make the raid much smoother.

Therian Forme Landorus is weak to Ice and Water-type moves within Pokemon GO. Ice-types have been constant since the Forces of Nature came back, so many players will have a decent team at the ready. However, some Water-types can be added to the mix.

Six Pokemon, all of which could be from the list, can be chosen to start the raid. If Therian Forme Landorus knocks out all six Pokemon, players can either revive them all or go back in quick with six new Pokemon.

Once Therian Forme Landorus is defeated, players will be rewarded with an encounter and Premier Balls based on their performance in the raid, or if friends were in the raid. Players should make sure to at least hit great throws, curve balls, and use fruit to catch the Therian Forme Landorus in Pokemon GO.
