PGA Tour 2K21 Update 1.11 Patch Notes

The Golf Masters at Augusta starts later this week on April 8, so it seems rather fitting that PGA Tour 2K21 has rolled out the first update to the game in quite some time.

HB Studios today (April 6) released PGA Tour 2K21 update 1.11. This is only a small download for the game so don’t go anticipating any massive amounts of changes or new content.

In fact, so far HB Studios have said absolutely nothing about this new update. All fans have to go off is the small patch notes on the PlayStation consoles update history.

Those who do check will merely find "stability and performance improvements" on the notes

On Reddit, some players believe the new update might have something to do with some noticeable freezing issues on PS5.

"I was freezing a lot yesterday playing on 60hz on PS5, after the update no freezes whatsoever. Bet it was a fix for that," wrote miklo0073. The user later added: "Anytime it wanted to show a replay or cut to another golfer I’d be stuck frozen or loading for quite a while at a time. So much I switched back to 30 hz."

For now, it's hard to tell what else could be fixed, but we'll be sure to share any official patch notes as they become available.

In the meantime, you can also check out everything you need to know about HB Studios next release 'PGA Tour 2K22' or the new kid on the block, 'EA Sports PGA Tour Golf'.
