Where to Get Anomaly Shards in Outriders
To get Anomaly Shards in Outriders you will need to dismantle gear. This is true for literally any gear you dismantle, though the chances are extremely low for getting Anomaly Shards. In our experience with the game so far it looks as if the higher the rarity of gear you dismantle the best chance you have for getting Anomaly Shards. Still, you won’t get many for each gear piece. This is likely because Anomaly Shards are used to upgrade level and rarity, two things that seriously improve any weapons and armour.
Anomaly Shard Types
Unlike other resources in Outriders, Anomaly Shards are broken down into specific categories, with different combinations of these separate collections used for upgrades. Here are all of the different types:
- Max Health
- Bonus Firepower
- Anomaly Power
- Weapon Life Leech
- Status Power
- Armour Pierce
- Crit Damage
- Close Range Damage
- Long Range Damage
- Skills Life Leech
- Healing Received
- Cooldown Reduction
Best Way to Farm Anomaly Shards
Given that Anomaly Shards are awarded after dismantling gear, there’s no good way to farm them. We recommend running late-game missions to accumulate high rarity gear. Dismantle them as you go to fill your stocks of Anomaly Shards.
