With Nintendo's announcement of an OLED version, pre-orders have gone live for the upcoming console.
But many have gotten to the console first, and already begun reselling the Switch successor on online marketplaces for extortionate amounts.
Nintendo Switch OLED Already Targeted By Scalpers
Various retailers have begun taking in pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch. One user has already bought theirs and has set the reselling price for quite a sum on eBay.
Considering the RRP is $349.99/£309.99, the price of £800 is more than twice the normal amount. And given the fact that this scalper is charging so much, you'd think delivery is included?
The Special Edition for Metroid Dread has also suffered a similar fate. Coinciding with the release of the OLED and with a standard cost of £79.99 from the likes of Amazon and GAME, resell prices are once again higher.
Instead of over-spending for the OLED switch, Nintendo enthusiasts can receive updates on when pre-orders are live for the console from retail stores.
