Nintendo's got a pretty stacked line-up in the next two months. Between New Pokémon Snap, Famicom Detective Club and Mario Golf: Super Rush, we can't forget about Miitopia either. Originally launched in 2016 on 3DS, its being ported to Switch on May 21st.
In preparation for this, Nintendo released a free demo yesterday, granting you full access to the first area of the game. Better yet, you can transfer your demo save data over to the full release. If you're wondering how to do that, we've got you covered.

Thankfully, it's pretty simple. Providing you're using the same Nintendo Switch console, all you need to do is play with the same user account, and save data will automatically transfer when starting the main game. As long as you follow this guidance, that all sounds pretty straightforward.
To help ease any fears, Nintendo has included a message at the beginning of Miitopia's demo, promising "save data from this demo can be carried over to the full version”. Unlike other recent examples, there's no time limit on this demo, so you can keep playing for as long as you'd like.
