Starfield was a game made with modding in mind, as Bethesda knows that their community can do wonderful and weird things that go insanely viral. It seems that the company is preparing for more of these mods, as the company is having verified testers try out Creation Kit 2 before everyone else.

Fans spotted Creation Kit 2 being issued out on SteamDB (via the game’s official subreddit), showing that a couple of “verified” testers got their hands on it. While details on the second Creation Kit haven’t been officially revealed yet, fans are more than ready to mess around with modding.

Many of the comments are pretty positive about Starfield’s Creation Kit 2, as modding seems to be the best part of this game thus far. If previous Bethesda games are anything to go by, we’re sure that these modders are going to go crazy with these tools. We wouldn’t be too surprised if Thomas the Tank Engine ends up making another return to a Bethesda game.

The hype around this Bethesda RPG has died down a bit since its release, with many fans saying that there aren’t enough activities to keep them busy. That’s a stark contrast to some of the discussions players were having last year, as gamers bought an Xbox just to play the game. With a second Creation Kit coming to the game, we’re sure that fans will start to show the game more appreciation.

Bethesda’s Starfield came out with solid reviews and decent sales, with many agreeing that the RPG was essentially Fallout in space. Although the story was fairly easy to breeze through, the New Game Plus content was where most of this game’s meat came from. Fans did get a bit bored with the game, but Bethesda is planning to release DLC and update the game for many years.

Starfield is readily available on Xbox Series and PC. Fans who have Game Pass can play the RPG on either system, depending on their membership.
