After getting announced back in 2022, fans are finally going to see more of Nacon’s open-world Terminator game and it sounds terrifying. Nacon will showcase this exciting new title and plenty of other games as part of a new presentation coming out next week.

IGN confirmed that a Nacon Connect is set for February 29 and will showcase several new games from the publisher. Some of the exciting new games part of the presentation include Greedfall 2, Ravenswatch, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, and more.

The new Terminator game will also be part of this presentation, so we might finally see this open-world survival title in action. Players will control a group of nuclear apocalypse survivors, who are doing what they can to live while being hunted down by these horrifying machines.

We can only assume how terrifying these Terminators will be, so some official gameplay from Nacon would be greatly appreciated. It sounds like a perfect marriage of concepts, so all we can do is hope that the execution is done well.

Before this news, the last game in this franchise was Terminator: Resistance, which was seen as an underrated gem by many. Although the game had some issues, fans like how it was inspired by Fallout, and the gameplay wasn’t half-bad. Developed by Teyon, Resistance was so well-liked that it even received a current-gen port, ensuring that it’s not stuck on last-gen systems.

It will be interesting to see if Nacon’s Terminator game can live up to Resistance, or carve its path as a quality title. There aren’t exactly a ton of recent games in the franchise to live up to, though the character has appeared in Mortal Kombat 11 and Fortnite. Let’s just hope this is a good licensed game since we’re still not free from bad ones.
