Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin continues to captivate RPG players around the world, following a successful initial launch with over one million sales in just two weeks.
After laying out an extensive post-launch contents roadmap last month, more details regarding one of these updates have been noted - and it's launching very soon.

New Monster Hunter Stories 2 Update Is Coming This Week
Capcom has announced a patch that will be arriving on September 2nd - that's this week!
The free new update will pit hunters against three new Monsties: Soulseer Mizutsune, Elderfrost Gammoth, and the Oroshi Kirin. Players can also embark on two additional co-op quests, a new delivery scheme, and a further subquest titled chillingly as Ice Phantom.
As well as noting the contents of this week's update, the Japanese publisher also announced another free patch for September 16th. This second September expansion will add a plethora of co-op quests (five in total), alongside two subquests.
Alongside last year's live-action movie, Monster Hunter was also adapted into a Netflix animated movie earlier this month.
