Reminder: Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild Is Out Now On Netflix

As previously confirmed by Capcom, Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild is now available on Netflix. Offering a 3D animated adventure, we find a world where humans and fearsome monsters live in an uneasy balance. Focused on a young hunter called Aiden, he'll fight to save his village from ruin.

Monster Hunter is in right now. Recently, we were treated to a live-action adaptation of the fantasy fable while Monster Hunter Stories 2 just hit PC and Nintendo Switch last month.

The Capcom video game will be transformed into another film, this time animated and more closely related to the legendary franchise.

New Monster Hunter Animated Movie Coming To Netflix

Titled Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild, the official plot synopsis for the forthcoming picture has been released:

In a world where humans and fearsome monsters live in an uneasy balance, young hunter Aiden fights to save his village from destruction by a dragon.

The animated feature will tell the origin story for Aiden, showcasing his adventures facing an Elder Dragon before becoming Ace Cadet in Monster Hunter 4 and appearing in Monster Hunter World as the Excitable A-Lister.

Running for a modest 58 minutes, the feature will serve as the directorial debut for Steve Yamamoto. Yamamoto has previously worked as a visual effects supervisor for a range of movies, including Transformers and Justice League.

Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild will be available for Netflix subscribers on August 12.
