How to Swim in Monster Hunter Stories 2

To swim you will need to have a Monstie that has the Swim Rider Action and press B to jump into the water. The first you will come across is the Royal Ludroth, which can be found in Alcala. This is the second main area you can explore, so just progress the story to this point. If you get a Royal Ludroth to retreat back to its den you can get yourself an egg and hatch it.
