Monster Hunter Rise is the latest entry into the long-running monster-slaying series. It was announced by Nintendo, and has been developed from the ground up for the Nintendo Switch platform. Monster Hunter Rise Platforms: What Platforms Is it Coming Out On?
Monster Hunter Rise is currently planned for an exclusive release on Nintendo Switch. It looks as though it’s Nintendo only for now, and given that it’s been developed from the ground up for Switch, it’s likely that it’ll stay there for the time being.
Is Monster Hunter Rise Coming to PlayStation?
Monster Hunter Rise is coming to Xbox and Playstation on January 19, 2023. This ends the era of Switch exclusivity for the game, unless you count the PC release.

Will Monster Hunter Rise Come to Xbox?
Monster Hunter World released for Xbox platforms, but it doesn’t look like Rise will be following the same path. Many of the previous entries in the series have been Nintendo exclusives, with World being somewhat of an exception. Monster Hunter Tri, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Monster Hunter 4 and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate all stayed put on Nintendo consoles.
