Modern Warfare will NOT feature a theater mode, as confirmed after the launch of the brand new Call of Duty game. The newest Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare, has been praised since launch from many around the world. But while the game boasts many new features and more depth in recurring areas, the absence of theater mode has not gone unnoticed.

Why Is There No Theater Mode?
Charlie Intel revealed from a review event in LA last week that the studio confirmed they decided against investing resources into building theater mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, because of the amount of work it takes to build and connect with the overall game.

Instead, the studio decided to invest their time and efforts into the gameplay and giving players the best experience possible when playing the game.
Theater mode has been a big part of Call of Duty for studios such as Treyarch, it has been absent from games that were developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games (apart from MW3).
