It seems almost inevitable that when a major patch comes to Modern Warfare and Warzone that something else bugs out.
That's certainly the case with the latest 1.25 patch that hit the game over the weekend, designed to fix the demonic texture glitch occurring with weapons.
Now not only are we suffering a killstreak glitch that gives you wonky aim, but the FR 5.56's shotgun attachment has also bugged out too!
Here's why you need to be worried about this weapon.
FR 5.56 Shotgun Attachment Is Broken!
For the most part, the shotgun attachments have always been pretty useless in both multiplayer and Warzone.
Now you may need to re-think your stance as the FR 5.56 can now reportedly 1-shot kill opponents from 15-16 metres.
While this doesn't sound like a lot, it's certainly an extensive range for a shotgun. When you combine that with a steady assault rifle like the FR 5.56, you have the ultimate combo.
However, it seems like players won't be able to enjoy this for long as Infinity Ward is already on the case.
"We've identified the issue with the FR 5.56 and are currently working on a fix. We'll share more details as they become available. Thank you all for your patience."

It's probably ambitious to expect this change to be implemented in the next day or two, but considering how quick Infinity Ward was to fix the last problem it could arrive much faster than we expect.
Although it's another frustrating exploit, it does shake up the stale meta a little bit (even if it's only for a short period of time).
