There are new things coming to Warzone, including Weapon Mastery Challenges, In-Match Events and a Contraband Contract System.

Weapon Mastery Challenges
Unlocking Gold for a weapon will make Mastery Challenges available.
Each weapon has 8 challenges, when completed they give rewards including, 4 Playercards and 4 Emblems.
There are 2 Headshot Challenges, 2 Kill Challenges and 4 others that much be done in order, Gold, Platinum, Damascus and Obsidian.
By completing all challenges, you will receive a special Sticker and Playercard!
Warzone In-Match Events
During a Warzone match events can take place which will impact on the strategy and approach to the game.
They can happen at any point of the game without notice.
Events will always occur mid-game.
For example, after the first drop kit and before the Gulag closes.
There are 3 event types but only one will occur per game so get yourself familiarized.
They are Jailbreak, Fire Sale and Supply Chopper.
Jailbreak
The Jailbreak event means that all players that have been eliminated will be let back into the session.
This includes those waiting in the Gulag and spectators.
There will be a minute warning before the event takes place so that you can find armour and weapons for your teammates return.
Jailbreak can take place at any time during the middle of the game so it’s probably worth spectating.
Fire Sale
Fire Sale is an event that will discount most items in the Buy Station up to 80% for a period of time.
Sometimes there are even free items up for grabs.
During this time buying back a fallen teammate is also free, this is really useful if you’re short on Cash.
This is the perfect time to buy something that usually is pretty hefty in terms of cost.
This event only lasts 60 seconds so Buy Stations will be crowded, so expect a fight.
Supply Chopper
The Supply Chopper event will bring a heavily armoured helicopter to the Verdansk.
It will have a large amount of health and may require a rocket or two to bring it down.
The helicopter is non-lethal so will not fire at you.
But watch your back as some rival teams will take advantage of you being distracted to take you out.
When destroyed the Supply Chopper will drop high-quality loot including three UAVS, two armour boxes, ammunition boxes, a gas mask, a grenade launcher and loads of Cash, this is the minimum!
Choppers only last a certain amount of time and will eventually leave so take it out as quickly as possible.
Be careful as other teams may let you do all the hard work and steal the loot for themselves.
Contraband Contract System
Contraband is a rare contract which rewards you with a Blueprint.
There is a chance for one of these to spawn after you have completed a normal contract.
A briefcase containing the Contraband Contract will spawn so be quick to pick it up.
Once in your possession, take it to the Helicopter Extraction point, to call a helicopter.
When it has arrived the player must deposit the briefcase into the helicopter drop-bag to complete the mission.
If another player is carrying a briefcase and you kill them, you can steal and complete the contract yourself.
