Since the release of Black Ops Cold War, millions of Modern Warfare players appear to have been left in the dark as attention quickly switched from the 2019 reboot to the direct sequel of the first Black Ops title that released all the way back in 2010.
Since the end of Season Six for Modern Warfare, there have been several rumours surrounding the introduction of brand-new content but developer Infinity Ward has yet to confirm whether any new content will be arriving to Modern Warfare.
There have been plenty of leaks revealing that brand-new content is present within the files of Modern Warfare, and this latest leak seemingly confirms that a new wave of content could be on the horizon.
With the discovery of new operator Sparks in the game files, here’s everything we know about a potential content update.
Modern Warfare Sparks Operator
Initially slated for release during the first season of post-launch content for Black Ops Cold War, there has been no signs of Sparks making an appearance.
This could well be changing in the not-too-distant future. Call of Duty leaker @Name__less has discovered an exclusive Finishing Move associated with the Operator alongside 20 minutes of voice lines associated with the newest member of the Demon Dogs faction.
The discovery of Sparks within the files of Modern Warfare is certainly a good sign for those still playing Modern Warfare and are desperate for a dose of fresh content to get stuck into.
Sparks Operator Release Date
With the start of Season Two for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone right around the corner, there are just a few weeks to go if Sparks is to make an appearance during Season One.
Considering that there is little time before the beginning of the new season, it would be extremely surprising to see Sparks arrive into Modern Warfare before the end of Season One, especially when Season Two is so close.
No official release date has been revealed, so we will have to wait and see whether Sparks does fly into Modern Warfare before the end of Season One.
