Black Ops Cold War: Shooting While Driving Feature Added To Multiplayer

Black Ops Cold War is adding plenty of new vehicles to its multiplayer and as it turns out, new mechanics too.

While many players have become familiar with the vehicular warfare this year, with the introduction of Warzone, there's still so aspects that haven't been implemented.

The standout one is the ability for the driver to shoot while driving - it seems that will be changing in this year's Call of Duty.

Drivers Can Now Shoot In Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer

Treyarch game designer Tony Flame tweeted last night the new driving and shooting feature:

"As long as you have your Driver's License, then you can shoot from the Driver's seat of Jetski's, Snowmobiles, and Motorcycles in 1st person while moving. #BlackOpsColdWar".

Up until now, the driver has only been able to drive the vehicle. Now they can get in on the action by shooting too.

But this feature seems to be limited to just the Jetski, Snowmobile and Motorcycle for now.

The new title is bringing in a variety of new vehicles including:

  • Tanks
  • Boats
  • Helicopters
  • Snowmobiles
  • Jet-Skis
  • Motorcycles

It's unclear if this feature is being translated over to Warzone, which is expected to get a Cold War makeover when the new game arrives.

Tony's choice of words were also very interesting, as he mentions a 'Driver's License'.

Could this Driver's License be a brand new perk? Or perhaps a Wildcard? We won't know more until potentially the beta launches on the 8th October for PS4.
