Black Ops Cold War LEAKS: Patch Notes Today, Mid-Season Update, Latest Zombies And Warzone News

Cold War has been with us for almost half a year and in that time as seen great success both in multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone.

Season 2 Reloaded is right around the corner and will be the next big update coming to the Call of Duty title.

Patch 1.14 is set to have massive changes for the multiplayer side of things, both in weapon balancing and new content.

Here's the latest news for Cold War.

Patch Notes Today

25th March

GLOBAL

  • 2XP Event
    • 2XP now available on PlayStation through 10AM PT March 26.
    • Triple-Double Weekend begins 10AM PT March 26 on all platforms (Double XP, Double Weapon XP, Double Battle Pass XP). Ends 10AM PT March 29.
  • Visuals
    • Addressed a visual issue where Naga’s legs could display improperly.

MULTIPLAYER

  • New Weapons
  • R1 Shadowhunter (added Mar. 24)
    • New one-shot kill crossbow available via in-game challenge and the Store.
    • Added to the Special weapon category in Create-a-Class.

Season 2 Reloaded

Next week’s mid-season update will bring more new content to Multiplayer and Zombies, including Miami Strike (6v6), Mansion (2v2 and 3v3), and Golova (Multi-Team) in MP, the massive new nighttime Sanatorium region in Outbreak, and much more.

We’ve also got a new weapon tuning pass coming to Multiplayer as part of the mid-season update, including LMG adjustments and tuning for the LC10, AK-74u, MAC-10, KSP 45, Milano 821, Krig 6, FFAR 1, Groza, Magnum, RPG-7, and more. A complete recoil balance pass on assault rifles and SMG attachments will also be included, as well as a buff to launcher damage against enemies with Flak Jacket in Hardcore.

Prop Hunt will also return with new maps and props added to the rotation, so keep an eye out for the official roadmap and full patch notes early next week.

Warzone

25th March Patch Notes

Ice Drake Blueprint fixed - the 16.5" Ultralight and 19.7" Takedown barrels will temporarily adorn a dragon head

R1 Shadowhunter crossbow should now be available in the Weapons menu after it has been unlocked in BOCW or via the Store bundle

Playlist Update

Adding:

  • Plunder – Blood Money Quads
  • Rebirth Island – Resurgence Duos

Removing:

  • Plunder – Blood Money Trios

Zombies

Outbreak will get a new map next week in the form of Sanatorium.

It's currently unknown when the new zombies map will release.
