Suda51 Wants To Make A Deadpool Game

It seems like Suda51 wants to give the Regenerating Degenerate his own game.

In an interview with IGN Japan, Suda51 talked about what was next for his squad at Grasshopper Manufacture. In doing so, he threw the famed Marvel character into the ring:

I'd also love to work with Marvel on a Shatterstar or Deadpool game.

This makes perfect sense given the similarities between the violence, humour and style of the Deadpool comics and No More Heroes. And Wade Wilson expresses a similar swagger to Travis Touchdown too.

Another Deadpool adventure might even be possible, following Marvel's extensive expansion into AAA gaming with Marvel's Avengers, Insomniac's Spider-Man and Square Enix's upcoming, Guardians of the Galaxy. The ball is in your court, Disney!

In addition to discussing his next project, Suda51 also discussed the reasoning behind ending Travis Touchdown's story with No More Heroes 3. We reviewed the hack-and-slash finale, noting how its "punk soul and incredible combat shine bright through the cracks."
