Eidos Montreal, which developed Deus Ex and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, is making Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. After Crystal Dynamics Marvel's Avengers received average reviews and lost a good deal of their fanbase, Square Enix is attempting to crack the Marvel code again.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is also slated to be a linear single-player adventure, similar to Eidos Montreal's previous games. It will tell the story of Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Gamora, and Drax the Destroyer, who form the Guardians of the Galaxy.
