Black Panther recently arrived in Marvel's Avengers through the War For Wakanda expansion. In addition to Hawkeye and Kate Bishop's launch earlier this year, Spider-Man will swing onto PlayStation consoles very soon.

Though footage for the expansion remains undisclosed, new details have been revealed. As reported by TheGamer, Crystal Dynamics' Senior Producer, Dan Matlack has assured fans that the web-slinger will have his own personalized campaign.

Among the game's discord server, Matlack has emphasized the scope of the character and that big plans have been made to match Peter Parker's significance:

Spider-Man is what we call an 'event' so he will have cutscenes and a story for sure.

Given how expansive Black Panther's story was, Spider-Man may even follow a similar route. Square Enix is also planning to bring Loki, Scarlett Witch, and more to the game, as showcased by a leak earlier this year.

Alongside the aforementioned DLC, Insomniac Games recently announced a sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man, while it has been speculated that the friendly neighbourhood superhero will arrive in Midnight Suns.
