League of Legends (LoL) will mark its 12th year since release this coming October, with the game currently on its 11th season which began last January 8.
A season in the game usually lasts at least 10 months or a year. Players get to grind in LoL and eventually rank up if they win, with the goal of reaching the highest rank possible which is the Challenger. Yet as we all know, it is a long way to reach that for sure, especially if you are just a new player or someone who started a season in the lower ranks.
But when does LoL’s season 11 end? Keep reading to find out more.
LoL Season 11 End Date
Since there is still no definite end date for season 11 of LoL, let’s list first all the start and end dates of the game’s past seasons through the years.
- Season 1 – Start Date: July 13, 2010/End Date: August 23, 2011
- Season 2 – Start Date: November 29, 2011/End Date: November 12, 2012
- Season 3 – Start Date: Feb. 1. 2013/End Date: Nov. 11, 2013
- Season 4 – Start Date: Jan 10. 2014/End Date: Nov. 11, 2014
- Season 5 – Start Date: Jan 21. 2015/End Date: Nov. 11, 2015
- Season 6 – Start Date: Jan 20. 2016/End Date: Nov. 8, 2016
- Season 7 – Start Date: Dec 8. 2016/End Date: Nov. 7, 2017
- Season 8 – Start Date: Jan 16. 2018/End Date: Nov. 12, 2018
- Season 9 – Start Date: Jan 23. 2019/End Date: Nov. 19, 2019
- Season 10 – Start Date: Jan 10. 2020/End Date: Nov. 10, 2020
Since season 2, all the game’s seasons ended in the month of November of each year.
Additionally, the end of a season in League of Legends usually comes 9-10 days after the end of that year's World Championship. Given that LoL Worlds 2021 is scheduled to end on 6th November, it is safe to assume that Season 11 will be ending sometime between 14th-16th November.
The end of Season 11 will be followed the Pre-Season for Season 12. On top of that, players will also be able to try out various changes coming to Season 12 in the PBE server before it is released in the main game client.
LoL Season 11 Patch Schedule
This season 11 there are already 24 patches scheduled by Riot Games, and the first ten patch notes were already implemented in the game. Here is the complete patch schedule of LoL’s season 11:
