League of Legends Worlds 2021 has been a thrilling ride so far with a plethora of stellar games being played during the Play-Ins as well as the Group Stage. However, the real action began today in the Quarter-Finals as Faker's T1 faced off against Chovy's Hanwha Life Esports.

While Hanwha Life's run from the play-ins to qualify for the knockouts is no small feat, facing off against the undisputed Demon King of LOL didn't quite go as they might have wanted. The final score of 3-0 in the bo5 series confirmed that Faker stays on course for his fourth Worlds title.

Without further ado, let's dive in and check out everything that happened during T1's win against Hanwha Life Esports in the first quarter-final of Worlds 2021.

T1 and Faker Continue Quest for 4th Worlds

Although a 3-0 wipe seemed unlikely, there was no doubt in anybody's mind when it came to a direct comparison between T1 and Hanwha Life Esports. The performance put up by HLE throughout the course of the tournament seemed rather dependable. However, the entire roster fell drastically short against the three-time world champion mid-laner of T1.

Faker put up a stellar and dependable display throughout the course of the three games and ensured a fairly easy victory for his team.

T1 and Faker will be facing off against the victor of the quarter-final between defending champions DAMWON Gaming and MAD Lions. This match will be played on 24th October and will determine the future of the semi-final tie.
