Riot Partners With Mercedes-Benz to Design Inaugural League of Legends World Championship Rings


As the Knockout Stage for League of Legends' World Championship 2021 approaches, Riot Games has partnered with Mercedes-Benz to bring this year's Worlds championship rings to life.

According to The Esports Observer, the rings' design feature Mercedes-Benz branding but still showcase that traditional championship aesthetic. It'll be awarded to Worlds 2021's champion team, alongside the iconic Summoner's Cup trophy.

Riot Partners With Mercedes-Benz To Design The Inaugural League Of Legends World Championship Rings

This marks the first time Riot are providing championship rings as a symbol of victory. The renowned carmaker - who are also the game's official automotive partner - will release a behind-the-scenes documentary short, showcasing the rings' creation process.

The Group Stage of Worlds 2021 capped off on October 18, while the Knockout Stage begins tomorrow. Only eight teams are remaining in the competition, namely Royal Never Give Up (China), Edward Gaming (China), Gen.G (Korea), T1 (Korea), Hanwha Life Esports (Korea), DWG Kia (Korea), Cloud9 (North America), and MAD Lions (Europe).
