G2 Esports Will Sign Flakked From MAD Lions Madrid, Sources Say

It's already known that G2 Esports will rebuild their roster around mid laner Rasmus ‘Caps’ Winther and jungler Marcin ‘Jankos’ Jankowski. However now rumours have surfaced that the team will sign MAD Lions Madrid's bot laner Victor “Flakked” Lirola once free agency begins on November 16.

The rumours came from Dot Esports (thanks Dexerto), in which their sources who are 'familiar with the team’s decision' told them about the move by G2.

Flakked is also being catered as the team's new AD Carry, replacing Martin ‘Rekkles’ Larsson in the process.

G2 Esports Will Sign Flakked From MAD Lions Madrid, Sources Say

Last month, G2 Esports CEO Carlos ‘ocelote’ Rodríguez posted on Twitter a video where he mentioned some of their decisions ahead of the 2022 LEC season, including support Mihael ‘Mikyx’ Mehle and top laner Martin ‘Wunder’ Hansen being put in the buyout market.

Once Flakked signs with G2, it's possible attention will turn to the rumoured Karmine Corp support Raphaël ‘Targamas’ Crabbé, who is also rumoured to join the team. And after a disappointing 2021 season run, a fresh shake up of the team lineup seemed inevitable.
