The Warzone 2 Vondel map first caught the attention of players dropping into the action during Season 3 Reloaded. Following the mid-season update, data miners uncovered an unreleased Warzone 2 map set in a brand-new location.
With Season 4 the next major content drop, attention is already turning to what Infinity Ward and Raven Software have in store and if the leak is anything to go by, the next season could prove to be one of the biggest.

What is the Warzone 2 Vondel map?
According to the leaks, Vondel is a brand-new Resurgence map making its way to Warzone 2. Although limited information is known, it's believed the map is set in Amsterdam, the capital city of The Netherlands.

On May 10, a leaked image showed an unfinished version of the map which featured a populated residential area in addition to a windmill next to a nearby river. It's a major shift from the sandy desert of Al Mazrah and the Japanese-themed Ashika Island.
Vondel also translates as Found, potentially tying in with the events of the Modern Warfare 2 Raids where Task Force Ghost recently reunited with Alex, the brother of Farah.
Warzone 2 Vondel map release date
At the time of writing, the Warzone 2 Vondel map is unknown. However, new maps often appear at the start of a new season. This means there is a chance of Vondel arriving in Season 4 which begins on June 14.
As always, it's best to take all of these leaks with a pinch of salt until Activision reveals more information. Of course, there's always a chance the publisher chooses to launch Vondel at an even later date.
